The Best of Both Worlds?
When it comes to hair transplants, Longevita offers an intriguing proposition: providing the best price guarantee for procedures in Turkey, along with the convenience of virtual or in-person UK-based aftercare.
Alternatively, thanks to their dual-location model, you can opt for surgery closer to home in London.
In addition to offering hair transplants, Longevita is also a provider of plastic surgery in London and Istanbul. They also offer cosmetic dental treatments, but only in the latter city. For those who wish to undergo multiple treatments, they offer a wide suite of cosmetic and aesthetic services.
But does this multi-focus model compromise on expertise? Let’s dive into the details with our Longevita Hair Transplant review.
Services Overview
Longevita offers the latest follicular unit extraction hair transplantation surgery — in addition to its advanced variants. With them, you can expect to be given dedicated support throughout the whole process from a team of genuine experts in the field.
The company offers a dual-nation model, meaning you can choose to have your transplant carried out in London or in Turkey. Either way, your aftercare services are provided from their London base.
Below, we’ve broken down the key services they provide under the hair transplant umbrella:
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
FUE is one of the most popular hair transplantation techniques Longevita offers.
It’s a minimally invasive procedure where individual hair follicles are taken from the “safe donor zone” – usually the back of the head – and transplanted to areas of hair loss.
By using this surgical technique, a long FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) scar is replaced with small dot scars that are barely visible.
In general, FUE is a great choice for anyone wanting natural-looking results with minimal downtime.
DHI (Direct Hair Implantation)
DHI takes the FUE method a step further. Though the extraction part of the surgery is the same, it combines incision-making with graft placement using a special pen-like tool. This method allows for:
Greater precision in graft placement
Quicker recovery with reduced trauma to the scalp
Better hair graft survival rate
Partially unshaven surgery
The DHI method is also particularly suited for people looking to enhance overall density or have a small area treated.
Sapphire FUE
A premium variation of the traditional FUE procedure, Sapphire FUE uses specialised sapphire blades to make the incisions for graft placement. The v-tipped blades used in this surgery are:
Less traumatic to the scalp
promote faster healing
Improving graft survival rates
Sapphire FUE can also achieve even more natural-looking results compared to standard FUE, making it an excellent choice for those seeking the best possible outcome.
Afro Hair Transplants
Hair transplants for Afro-textured hair require a unique approach due to the curl patterns both above and below the skin’s surface. These curls can make extraction more challenging, as traditional tools may damage or transect the follicles.
The surgeons working with Longevita are experienced in handling the intricacies of Afro-textured hair, ensuring that patients receive natural-looking, long-lasting results.
Both men and women with Afro-textured hair can benefit from this specialised service.
Beard Transplants
Facial hair is a significant aspect of grooming and self-expression, and Longevita offers beard transplants for individuals with patchy or sparse facial hair.
Using the FUE technique, hair grafts are taken from the scalp’s donor area and transplanted to the beard region.
This service is particularly popular among those looking to achieve a fuller, more defined beard, to conceal scars from injuries, burns, or acne or for gender affirmation.
Female Hair Transplants
Females who have experienced hair loss due to pattern baldness or tight hairstyles have the option for restoration through hair transplant surgery.
The procedure can be done using the traditional FUE, DHI or Sapphire FUE, depending on the needs and goals of the patient.
Female hair transplants give permanent and very natural-looking results.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Therapy
For anyone looking for a non-surgical hair loss treatment, PRP therapy is a popular choice. This treatment involves drawing a patient’s blood, isolating the platelet-rich plasma, and injecting it into the scalp to stimulate hair growth.
Rich in growth factors and proteins, PRP supports the health of existing follicles and can complement surgical procedures like FUE and DHI.
It’s particularly beneficial for individuals in the early stages of hair loss or those seeking to speed up recovery after a transplant.
Treatment Experience
Your journey with Longevita will start with a virtual consultation with one of their Patient Consultants. This is free, and gives you the chance to get your questions answered from qualified surgeons before you commit to anything.
Following your discussion and the photographs you share of your scalp, you will be given a tailored treatment plan by them.
If you decide to have your surgery in Turkey:
Prior to your arrival, you will be assisted by a Travel Coordinator.
Once you’re in Istanbul, you’ll be accompanied by a dedicated Patient Coordinator to your appointments. They will also act as your interpreters.
Turkey is a major hub for medical tourism, especially for hair transplants. Here, the prices are much lower than in the UK, but the facilities and expertise are often on par with or even better than those in Western Europe. Longevita works with clinics that are well-regarded and use modern equipment.
Most patients describe the procedure as straightforward and relatively pain-free. FUE and DHI are minimally invasive, and you’re awake during the process with only local anaesthesia applied.
Patients frequently praise the professionalism of the medical teams and the way the staff ensure you’re comfortable throughout.
Aftercare and Support
One of the biggest concerns for people travelling abroad for surgery is the lack of reliable aftercare once they return home. Longevita addresses this worry by offering comprehensive postoperative support, both virtually and in person.
Longevita’s Aftercare team in Turkey offers regular virtual check-ups, as well as face-to-face consultations in London if needed.
The importance of aftercare cannot be overstated. Hair transplants require careful management in the weeks and months following the procedure to ensure optimal results. Otherwise, they can fail, rendering the entire experience an expensive mistake.
Patients have frequently talked positively about Longevita regarding their attentiveness during the recovery phase. From providing personalised care plans to responding promptly to post-operative queries, their team ensures that clients feel supported throughout their journey.
This level of care helps mitigate the common fear of being left in the lurch after surgery, a concern that often accompanies medical tourism.
To be clear though, you shouldn’t expect to be returning to the UK and spending a lot of time visiting the clinics for your aftercare. You will, largely, be left to recover at home and given a plan to follow, and access to online resources.
The London clinic is available to you if you need it, but it’s not like you’ll be given regular timetabled appointments to make sure everything’s on track. That’s on you to manage yourself, and if you struggle with any part of the recovery process then you’ll need to reach out.
Costs
Affordability is one of Longevita’s main selling points, and they also offer their patients the best price guarantee. The prices of their hair transplants in Turkey and the UK are as follows:
FUE
DHI
Sapphire FUE
Turkey
£1,750
£2,050
£2,050
UK
£2,750
£2,750
£3,250
Longevita’s pricing structure is competitive, and their Turkey plans also include extras like accommodation, airport transfers, platelet-rich plasma injections and even translation services – making the process seamless for international clients.
Longevita’s transparency in pricing is a major advantage, with no hidden costs or surprise fees. From the outset, clients receive a detailed quote tailored to their specific needs, ensuring clarity.
To make treatments more accessible, Longevita also offers flexible payment plans for patients. Specifically, patients getting surgery in the UK can take advantage of interest-free loans they can help arrange.
These finance options further make it easier for people to afford hair restoration without compromising on quality.
Positive Results
Longevita has built a solid reputation for delivering natural-looking results that last. Many patients have left reviews that talk about significant improvements in hair density and appearance within 6 to 12 months of their procedure.
The ability of the medical staff to design natural hairlines is frequently praised in client testimonials.
What further sets Longevita apart from other “hair restoration tourism” companies is their commitment to personalised treatment plans. This attention to detail ensures results that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also long-lasting. For many, the transformation extends beyond physical appearance, improving their self-esteem and overall quality of life.
Longevita’s role in helping to facilitate this change is what really showcases their expertise and dedication to patient satisfaction. However, as with any medical procedure, results can vary. Factors such as the patient’s overall health, adherence to post-operative care guidelines, and the severity of hair loss all play a role in determining the final outcome.
Longevita’s thorough aftercare programme significantly enhances the likelihood of positive results, but it’s essential for clients to have realistic expectations.
Summary of Feedback
Longevita consistently earns positive reviews for its affordability and quality of care. Clients often talk about the professionalism of the medical staff, the smoothness of the process, and the postoperative support.
People talk about how the whole Longevita team is extremely helpful from start to finish, right from the first free consultation through to aftercare advice and more, even though they aren’t the ones carrying out the actual treatments.
However, some potential drawbacks should be noted. The way that the clinic works – offering plastic surgery and dental treatments alongside hair transplants – may raise some concerns about whether they’re spreading their expertise too thin.
For those who prioritise a specialist-only clinic, this could be seen as a minor sticking point. That said, Longevita’s high volume of hair transplant cases suggests that they maintain a strong focus on this area despite their diverse offerings.
Additionally, most clients find their aftercare reassuring. However, if you’re someone who values constant reassurance during recovery, it’s important that you communicate this with the team so there are no delays in the communication during the postoperative period.
Lastly, while the clinic has an exceptionally high number of five-star reviews, it’s a good idea to specifically look for reviews which mention a post-op period of around 12 months, as that’s when the final results become visible.
Overall, most people do seem genuinely happy with their treatment, though.
Conclusion
Longevita offers a unique combination of affordable surgery in Turkey and the UK with reliable aftercare. This model can help to address the concerns many future patients have about going abroad for medical treatment while still delivering significant cost savings.
For those who are price-conscious but still want high-quality care, Longevita stands out as a practical option. Their ability to bridge the gap between accessible treatment and trusted aftercare makes them an attractive choice for many patients.
While the inclusion of plastic surgery and dental services might give some pause, it’s clear that Longevita has carved a niche for itself in the hair transplant sector. Their extensive experience and attention to detail in hair restoration procedures mean they’re more than capable of delivering excellent results.
(Also, if you’re a woman who wants a boob job, a hair transplant, and dental implants, you can get it all sorted in one handy place!)
If you’re considering a hair transplant but have concerns about the logistics or aftercare, Longevita’s model could provide the balance you’re looking for.
The positive feedback from past patients, combined with the convenience of UK consultations and follow-ups, highlights their commitment to patient satisfaction. By offering tailored treatments and comprehensive support, Longevita has positioned itself as a dependable choice in the competitive world of hair restoration
In the end, whether Longevita is right for you will depend on your priorities. If cost and convenience are at the top of your list, it’s hard to ignore the benefits of their service. Longevita offers not just a hair transplant but a complete journey – from consultation to aftercare – that prioritises both results and peace of mind.

So I bit the bullet last year after my mate kept banging on about his hair transplant
So I bit the bullet last year after my mate kept banging on about his hair transplant. Spent ages reading stuff online and kept seeing Longevita pop up with solid reviews. Not gonna lie, was bricking it about going to Turkey for surgery but now I’m just kicking myself for not doing it sooner!
Been thinning since 27, and by 31 my hairline was properly in retreat mode lol. Got quoted £12K at a place in Manchester, then saw Longevita could do the same for literally less than half that. Still wasn’t sure til their UK consultant video called me and walked through everything. No BS sales pitch, just straight answers.
They sorted everything – flights from Stansted, decent hotel near Taksim Square, even had a driver with my name on a board at the airport. Felt like a proper VIP! Clinic was way nicer than my NHS doctor’s surgery back home.
The surgeon was an absolute legend. Spent ages drawing my new hairline, kept asking what I wanted, showed me pics of blokes my age so it wouldn’t look obvious. Took around 4100 grafts in the end. Not gonna pretend it was a spa day – was in the chair for hours, but they kept checking I was alright, put Netflix on, and the lunch they brought in was actually decent.
First couple nights after were a bit rough – sleeping upright is a pain. But honestly nothing like the horror stories you hear. Was even able to go see the Blue Mosque before flying home (wearing a cap, obviously).
Fast forward 9 months and my barber literally couldn’t believe it wasn’t my natural hair. Got so much thicker between months 5-7. Even my mum who was dead against the whole thing admits it looks class. Dating life’s definitely picked up too 😉
Longevita knows what they’re doing, and the Turkish hospitality is next level.
